Skunk Skull Replica

Mephitis mephitis. The striped skunk can be found in Canada, the United States and upper Mexico. The skunk is black with 2 white stripes running down along the body. Skunks emit an unpleasant smelling spray when they feel threatened. For this reason, they have few predators. One exception is the Great Horned Owl, since this bird (like many birds) has little sense of smell.

Skunk skull measures 84mm/3.3in. The bottom jaw is permanently attached to the skull.
