Each year on April 22nd we celebrate Earth Day to encourage children (and adults) to take steps to protect our planet. While that’s a great start, there are so many simple things we can do each and every day that make a difference all year long. Our Earth Day, EVERY Day activity kit is designed to encourage children to consider how small actions can add up to make a big difference!
Each child gets to make and take home their very own Earth Day, EVERY Day Binoculars! First, they color in the pre-printed cardboard sheet containing earth friendly messaging using crayons or colored pencils that you provide. (Please note that some markers will smear and are not recommended.) Then, after attaching the plastic lenses (using the adhesive tape provided) and lanyard string, the binoculars easily fold into shape and are ready for immediate use. Take them outside and see all that the natural world has to offer!
For use in grades TK-8 under adult supervision. Ages 8+ for other uses. (Younger children can color in the artwork but would need assistance with the assembly. Kids 4 and up can easily use the completed binoculars).
